Almond Poppy Bread

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
3 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 eggs
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons oil
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
1/4 can poppy seeds
Glaze Ingredients
1/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Blend all ingredients until well blended. Pour into greased tins. Bake for one hour. Makes 2 large or 3 medium or 4 small loaves.
Heat all glaze ingredients until sugar melts. Brush on cooled breads with a pastry brush. Allow glaze to harden before serving.
