Easter Ham
There are so many different types of ham - so many to choose from. My favorite of ALL is Honeybaked Ham. There's just nothing like it. However, it's a little pricey. Maybe when I win the lottery!
We've discovered a very good ham in Costco's Spiral Sliced Ham. It's perfect - it's already cut, it's juicy, and very good. Follow the directions on the package for heating it. It comes with its own glaze, which you might prefer to use. However, most pre-packaged ham glazes have cinnamon and cloves in it, so I have to be careful, as I'm allergic to those spices. Last year I found a wonderful glaze on-line and used that:
Honey Mustard Ham Glaze
www.cdkitchen.com
5 tablespoons yellow mustard (or whatever mustard you prefer)
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup honey
Mix all ingredients together until smooth and apply glaze to ham. Cut recipe in half if ham is small.
Enjoy!
