Susannah's Chocolate Chip Cookies
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
1 1/4 cups cup butter or margerine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar or Splenda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups quick oats
2 cups chocolate chips
Put butter or margerine, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl. Mix until blended. Add egg and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Add flour and salt; stir. Add quick oats, then chocolate chips.
Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
Note: At high altitudes, do a test cookie. If too flat, add up to 1/4 cup additonal flour.
