Stew. There's nothing like it.  Something that must simmer on the stove for hours, filling the house with wonderful homecooked smells.  By the time the stew is done, you just can't wait to eat it! I like making biscuits to go with my stew.  I always keep plenty of Biquick on hand or I pick up some Grands Buttermilk ready to bake biscuits at the store.  I like to put butter on my biscuits and then dip them in the stew gravy.  Hmmmm - good!
