Katherine Hepburn's Brownies

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Melt 1/4 pound butter and 2 squares unsweetened baking chocolate in heavy sauce pan over low heat.  Remove from stove and stir in 1 cup sugar.  Beat in 2 eggs and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.  Quickly add 1 cup chopped nuts, 1/4 cup all purpose flour, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.  Place in well-greased 8 x 8 pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until done.
