Baked Potatoes
This one is so easy for me. A long time ago, I "decided" that 350 degrees farenheit is my temperature of choice when baking. I KNOW by years of experience that it will get things cooked and not dry them out. It's a temperature that's "not to low and not too hot." It's just right for this cooking Goldilocks!!
First off, I choose how many potatoes I want to bake. It's usually around 6. So I pre-heat the oven to 30 degrees. While the oven is pre-heating, I wash and dry the potatoes. Then I take a perry knife and cut a cross into the center of each potato. I then wrap the potatoes in foil and put them on a baking sheet. I bake them for 1 hour and they are done!
A quicker way to cook potatoes is in the microwave. I wash and dry 4 potatoes, cut a cross in the center, put them on microwave safe plate and cover it with a plastic microwave cover. I microwave on High for 15 minutes. They're done!
Serve either the baked potatoes or the microwave potatoes with butter or sour cream.
Enjoy!!
