Mint Chocolate Brownies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Brownie base
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's chocolate syrup
4 eggs
Mix together the above ingredients; beat until smooth. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Cool on rack.
Frosting
1/2 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons Creme De Menthe
Cream together, then spread on cooled brownies.
Mint frosting
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Melt over low heat and spread over mint layer. Chill, then cut into squares.
