Green Pea Salad
2 10-oz. packages frozen petite peas
1 8-oz. carton sour cream
6-8 slices bacon
4-6 green onions, chopped
1 can water chestnuts, drained
Defrost peas and drain. Fry bacon and then cut into small pieces. Dice water chestnuts. Add green onions, and sour cream. Mix together. Chill for at least 2 hours.
This can be made a day ahead.
