Thanksgiving. Always a day of rememberance for me. Thinking about growing up and having Thanksgiving with my mom, grandparents, brothers and sister. In time, it included my brother's girlfriend and future wife, Diane, and her brother and parents.
My husband and I have been together since 2001 and in 2011 we got married. I have ALOT to be thankful for. In January 2011 my husband was diagnosed with Stage 2 prostate cancer. Three months later, to the day, he had his prostate removed at City of Hope. To date, he remains cancer free. I am VERY THANKFUL for that; I feel very blessed.
Other things I'm thankful for: I have a job (been there 9 years now); I have health insurance; I have a roof over my head and food to eat. We have 2 cats now - Charlie - who's been with us almost 7 years now (he came to us as a stray). And Cricket, who we got in 2012 and who will be 3 on January 10th.
We live in Montana - a beautiful state. We love going on long drives. Lately we drove from Helena to Lincoln to Great Falls. When you get near Great Falls, you see the prairies, and this is where the Great Plains "end" - where they meet the Rocky Mountains. It goes from flat to rugged mountains. Hope everyone can get to see this sometime.
I want to wish all who visit here a very blessed Thanksgiving.
