Mock Raviola
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1 package bow tie macaroni - cooked and drained
Marinate together:
1 package frozen chopped spinach
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/4 vegetable oil
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 clove of garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
In a skillet, add:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
Brown ground beef and onion until browned. add:
1 can mushrooms
2 tablespoons italian herbs
2-3 cans tomatoes (regular size)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Cook slowly for 5-10 minutes over medium heat to meld the flavors.
In large baking dish put everything together. Bake in oven for 40 minutes. Additional grated cheese can be put on top.
