Preheat oven to 325 degrees
1/2 cup butter
1/2 margarine
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons water
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped pecans
Cream together butter, margarine, and sugar. Add water and vanilla; mix well. Add flour and pecans. Chill 2-3 hours. Shape into balls or crescents.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet about 20 minutes. Cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar.
