Anna's Chili

2 pounds hamburger
1 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoons cumin
1/4 cup chili powder
1-2 tablespoons minced garlic
1-2 teaspoons salt (more if you like)
3 cups water
about 1/4 cup flour
pepper to taste
1-2 cans of cooked pinto beans
Into a large pot pour the oil and crumble the meat. Break-up the meat and add the minced garlic. Stir and cook for about 15 minutes. Drain off the oil if alot is in the cooking meat.
Into a small bowl mix the flour, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Pour over the meat and stir to mix well. It should look kind of dryish. Add 3 cups water and stir well. Cook for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Add water if it gets too thick.
Add the drained beans, if you like, and heat through

Use the chili over cooked spaghetti for Chili Spaghetti.
Top with shredded cheese and diced onions.
