When giving a party, there's so many drinks to choose from.  And, it all depends on the food you'll be serving at your party.  If it's a Mexican Fiesta, you'll want to serve maybe mexican beer and tequila.  Margarita's would be good.  If you know of a drink that goes well with mexican fare by all means serve it. 

If it's a fancy party, a good champagne would be in order. Or a variety of drinks like Mimosa's, Bellini's; something like that.

If all else fails, ask your guests, prior to the party, what they'd like to drink.  That way, along with your prescence and the food, the party will be a huge success!
