Cornbread Croutons
By Judi Harris
I saw this recipe on a cooking show on Hallmark Channel. I loved the idea of Cornbread Croutons!! Not all stores have ready-made cornbread, but Safeway does!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1 package (that has 2 large slices of cornbread in it)
Take the cornbread pieces out of the box and cut them into bite-size pieces. Put them on a baking sheet (no need to spray it with PAM) and toast them for 15 minutes or until golden brown, stirring with a spatula every 5 minutes.
I added these croutons to Tony Roma's Baked Potato Soup. It was AWESOME!!!
