Cornbread.  Behind white bread it's my favorite bread.  Marie Callendar's certainly conquered the market on pre-packaged cornbread.  I've tried the copycat recipe of it and it just didn't turn out as well.  I LOVE cornbread and make it not as often as I'd lke.  I make it to go with my tamale pie.  I use the recipe on the corn meal box to make it.   Somtimes I add a bit of sugar to add sweetness. And, it goes GREAT with chili!  Chili and cornbread - YUM!
