Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake
This recipe is soooooooooooo creamy, so yummy, so "beyond delicious!" that my husband and I can't eat "just one slice!" It is one of our favorite desserts and we can easily polish it off in two nights.
1 chocolate Keebler crust
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
2/3 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can (15 ounces) Comstock cherry pie filling, chilled
In a medium bowl, cream together (using a mixer) the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. Add the lime juice and beat for another 30 seconds. Pour mixture into chocolate crust and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Pour the cherry pie filling on top of the cheesecake, chill for another 30 minutes and serve.
Note: I always make two as it doesn't last long in our house!
