Mrs. Cubbison's Seasoned Stuffing. I grew up on this. It's the only stuffing mix I really like. I've tried others, but none make me feel "Thanksgivinee" like this stuffing does. Everyone has their own favorite stuffing. My husband's favorite stuffing is his mom's Sausage Stuffing.
Whatever stuffing you MUST HAVE for Thanksgiving - ENJOY!
Basic Saucepan Stuffing Servings: 4
Prep Time: 30 min
Cook Time: 20 min
2 tablespoons; butter or margarine
1/2 cup; finely chopped celery
1/2 cup; finely chopped onion
1 1/3 cups; broth or water
chopped parsley
1 6-ounce package of Mrs. Cubbison's Classic Seasoned Dressing or Seasoned Corn Bread Stuffing
Place the butter or margarine in a large saucepan, and melt over medium heat. Add the celery and onion, and sauté for about 5 minutes, or until the onion is soft.
Add the broth or water to the saucepan, and bring to boil over high heat. Cover the saucepan, reduce the heat, and simmer for 3 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat, and stir in the stuffing mix. Cover and let stand for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving. Top with chopped parsley, if desired.
