Apple Crumb Pie

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
For the crust - purchased or homemade pastry for single pie crust
Filling
5-7 Granny Smith apples
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Peel, quarter, and core apples; slice in pieces about 1/4 inch thick. Toss the apples, sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl, then fill pie crust.
Streusel topping
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine
Combine flour and sugar in bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Put the pie on a cookie sheet and carefully put the topping all over the pie as evenly as possible. Cover all the apples. Pat topping lightly.
Bake for 40 minutes.
